All of my clients and friends from around the country are always telling me how jealous they are of me living in Nebraska. I am always perplexed by this. They say that I am blessed to live in a state that the economy is not really that bad. Take states like AZ, TX and CA. Those real estate markets have basically collapsed and could take decades to recover. Here is an interesting article as to why States like Nebraska are doing so well.
Of special note is that of the ten states with really low unemployment only three are not immediately surrounding Nebraska.
