SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining all inventory, work closely with vendors on pricing. Work closely with maintenance personnel on purchasing habits. Daily entry of goods purchased into billing software.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily entry of consumed products
- Maintain the product warehouse with appropriate products and at correct inventory levels
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Reconcile daily Menards order
- Oversee and confront maintenance personnel to verify they are using product from preferred vendors and using the correct materials
- Work with maintenance personnel to limit the purchasing of products form hardware stores and promote ordering from Menards and utilizing our warehouse
- Verify that maintenance personnel is using the product that they order for specific jobs
- Maintain product warehouse for individual service technicians in their work vehicle
- Reconcile vendor bills
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
- Work with vendors on discount programs and verify proper mark ups
- Support staff in assigned project based work
- Other duties as assigned
- Address each maintenance guy everyday on what they are buying to establish a best practices approach to ordering materials
- needs to be comfortable for repetitive tasks

Enter maintenance personnel time when needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm. This is normally acquired through one to three years of clerical experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, extensive Excel and internet experience.
- Assertive personality
- Working knowledge of blue prints or ability to learn
- Extreme attention to details
- 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 in communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
